The Story So Far ...

The Early Years

Formed at Lancaster University (England)1994. Originally a four piece known as Slice with 'Ed' on keyboards. Played covers of songs by the Stone Roses, Suede and others for various colleges within the university. This included an 'extrav' in June 1994 with A Certain Ratio and then in June the following year with Dodgy.

Continued to play in Lancaster for another two years gradually building a repertoire of their own songs. They generated a strong and loyal following among the students of Lancaster University. Played more extrav's with Meanswe@r, Echobelly and Edwin Starr. Won a 'Battle of the Bands' competition at the Morecambe Carlton.

On completion of their courses they decided to leave Lancaster and look for larger venues in the hope of generating sufficient interest to be spotted and get a recording contract. They moved to Leicester between July and November 1997.
